Key Automation's PS-200 motor shells (often sold as a pair) are the technopolymer external covers designed for swing gate motors, in particular for the STAR series (such as the STAR 200, 300 models or the 24V versions)

Description

The primary function is to protect the electromechanical heart of the automation. Without the covers, rain, snow, ice, and humidity would come into direct contact with: the rotor and stator (preventing short circuits); the electrical wiring and starting capacitor; the lubricated gears (preventing the grease from drying out or becoming contaminated with dust and sand).

Since they are the most exposed part, the shells are the first to be damaged. It is advisable to purchase the PS-200 replacement.
